Emerging Technologies
Early technical bets — new sensors, on-device models, and computing hardware — taken only as far as a real build requires.

Emerging work is still engineering. We use it for problems that do not have a settled stack yet: a new wearable modality, a model that has to run next to the sensor, or infrastructure built around current AI accelerators.
We would rather ship a small, measured system than a concept video.
What this usually includes
A narrow question
We pick one capability to prove, measure it, and stop before the prototype pretends to be a platform.
Hardware in the loop
If the idea depends on a chip, a sensor, or a GPU, that part is in the lab, not only in a diagram.
A written exit
Every exploration ends with what worked, what failed, and whether it should become a product.
